Community Security Services meeting

Weneed more security volunteers to help keep our community safe. Join us fortraining on Sunday,January 18 2026at 10 am.

Whythis matters:Recent attacks on Jewish communities remind us how important security is.You’ve seen volunteers in security vests at our services—we need more peoplelike them.

What’sinvolved: Traininghas two parts (7 hours total):

• 4 hours online (self-paced, finish by January 16)
• 3 hours in-person (January 18 2026 at 10 am at TBA)

Howto sign up:

Newvolunteers:

1. Register with CSS (Community Security Service) and complete online training by Jan 16
2. Sign up for the January 18 in-person session by Jan 16

Alreadytrained? Joinus January 18 for a refresher.

Readyto volunteer? Ifyou’re trained but haven’t worked a shift yet, contact safety@tbaoakland.org to shadow an experiencedvolunteer.
