Women of TBA
WTBA is a dynamic group of women working together to support Jewish education, our synagogue community, and each other. Through accessible, inspiring, fun, and diverse programming, we enrich our lives, build friendships, practice mitzvot, and improve our congregation and our community.
Contact Women of TBA President Jill Oggeri for more information.
Men's Club
The Men’s Club of TBA is a vibrant, multi-generational group whose goal is to support one another and grown the rich heritage of our TBA and Jewish communities. Membership is open to all. Join us at our next tiki bar, booze and schmooze, or at one of our amazing poker nights.
Brotherhood: In the broadest sense, we are an inclusive group of intergenerational buddies who enjoy our time together. Share our hobbies, host get-togethers, organize local sports Jewish heritage events, and have fun. And yes . . . we host a great poker game.
Service: We keep many of the TBA traditions going. From L’Chaim bartending at Purim, building the temple Sukkah, serving eggs mit’ onions on Thanksgiving morning, to hosting the Men’s Club Shabbat.
Tzedakah: Our efforts have supported the Gan and Bet Sefer schools, built the well-loved Gaga court, provided gifts for B’nai Mitzvah teens, and more.
Contact Men’s Club President Daniel Sherman for more information.
Social Action
This committee’s goal is to further our collective commitment to Tikkun Olam – the repair of the world. The emphasis is on realizing our Jewish values and traditions through the performance of mitzvot, including direct services and advocacy regarding social issues to Jews in the East Bay. Participation can be a one-time activity or ongoing. Your suggestions are always welcome.
